A day at Baobab…
09:00 to 09:15 Relaxed entry, change of shoes.
09:15 to 11:00 Children explore the materials in the different areas:
* Practical life area: care of the person, care of the environment, food preparation.
* Social area: respecting turns, serving food, silence, cooking.
* Movement area: Coarse: balls, stairs, walking, balance, climbing, jumping.
* Fine: transfer, experiment with water, open and close, cut.
* Language area: dialogues, lullabies, listening and looking at books.
* Sensory area: collecting nature objects, treasure basket, exploring, experiencing smells, heuristic play.
* Music area: use of voice, listening to sounds, producing sounds with instruments.
* Art area: observe works of art, model, paint, collage.
11:30 to 12:00 Exit to the park or the forest
12:30 to 12:30 Preparation of the table for eating and hygiene habits.
12:30 to 13:15 Lunch all together with your guides. Then the table is cleared.
1:15 to 15:00 Nap, rest and relaxation.
15:00 to 15:45 Preparation for returning home.

Montessori Education focuses on the development of speech, coordinated movement and independence of being, which gives the child confidence and allows him to discover his own potential and his place within a community.
Up to six years old, children need a space that stimulates their sensory, movement and cognitive needs and that enhances their growing interest in reading and writing. Furthermore, during this stage, adequate communication between family and school is essential, creating bonds of trust and security.
